ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $750,000.00
Proposals for furnishing all labor and materials as required by the drawings and specifications for the Window Replacement at Various Campuses, will be received by the Attala County School District at 100 Courthouse Building, Suite 3, Kosciusko, Mississippi 39090 until 10:00 A.M. on May 26, 2023, and then publicly opened and read aloud. Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the contract documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and shall hold current Certificates of Responsibility as issued by law.
Project Description: This project scope of work includes three (3) school sites under one contract. The work includes but is not limited to replacement of existing windows and in-filling exterior wall openings as indicated in the construction documents.
Bids may be submitted by either of the following methods:
1. Electronic Bids will be accepted by electronic submission as a PDF file at https://www.jhharchitectsplans.com. Each bidder submitting a bid electronically shall include a cover document titled Bid: Window Replacement at Various Campuses and shall list the bidder's Company Name, Company Address and Certificate of Responsibility Number as part of its PDF bid submittal. Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility Number shall not be considered.
2. Sealed bids will be received at the Attala County School District at 100 Courthouse Building, Suite 3, Kosciusko, Mississippi 39090. All sealed bids shall be marked on the outside face of the envelope "Bid: Window Replacement at Various Campuses” and shall have the bidder's Company Name, Company Address and Certificate of Responsibility Number written on the outside of the envelope. If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened or considered.
Bid documents are being made available via paper copy or digital pdf. Plan holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.jhharchitectsplans.com. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Questions regarding website registration and online orders please contact Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193. No partial set of Documents will be issued. Selected plan rooms will be issued one (1) electronic copy without charge.
A Pre-Bid conference will be held at Greenlee Elementary School 26050 MS-12, McCool, MS 39108 at 3:30 P.M., on May 10, 2023.
Proposals must be submitted on the form as shown in the specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid and as required by the Contract Documents.
Performance and Payment Bond, in the full amount of the contract, will be required for contract security.
The Contract or Contracts will be awarded to the lowest acceptable bidder, except that the Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for examination for a period not to exceed Thirty (30) days and to award the Contract based on the best bid. All Bids shall be in compliance and subject to Sections 31-3-15 and 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as annotated and amended, and in all case law pertaining thereto.
